Thank you for your interest in the game! Before you get started writing that super awesome app, you should check out our FAQ and Rules page. Now, onto the nitty-gritty:

1. Apps are open on the 1st-7th of every month.
2. You may apply for up to 2 characters per app round.
3. Reserves and Applications are judged on a first-come, first-serve basis.
4. [Edit 11/30/2016] Applications are now capped at 20 apps per cycle. The received application page will be updated when we are nearing or have hit the cap. Any apps submitted while the received application page has less than 20 names on it will be considered valid.
5. You may apply for a character without a reserve.
6. Please copy the textbox in its entirety and fill out every field that applies to your character.
7. Respond to this post with either the full app in the comments, or a link to the app in a character journal.
8. Your comment title should be in the format of Character Name | Canon Name | Reserved/Not Reserved.
9. Apps must be complete at time of posting. If we find that a posted app does not have all required sections filled out, then the player will be notified and will have 24 hours to complete any blank sections. Any apps with missing sections after the 24 hour period will be rejected.
10. All comments are screened, we will not unscreen comments without player permission.
11. Our app process has three possible outcomes.
► Accepted: Congratulations, you've been accepted into Hadriel! Please read the acceptance notice carefully and follow the instructions therein.
► Revisions: Happens to everyone. We'll ask for revisions on any particular section if we need clarification or feel like there's not enough information to make a decision. We allow three days for revisions before the app is automatically rejected.
► Rejected: We will reject applications if we feel like the character breaks one of our app rules (listed in the FAQ section), if sections of the app are missing, or if we feel that too many revisions would be required to accept it. We will reject applications after the third revision request.

12. If your app has been rejected, you may reapply for that character in the next app round.
13. All app notifications will go out at the same time, after applications close.
14. The intro log will be posted on the 10th of each month.

CHARACTER
Character Name: Clear
Character Age:Unknown
Canon: Dramatical Murder
Canon Point: After Clear’s Route (Good Ending)
History:Clear's wiki page

Clear doesn’t have much by way of history since we don’t exactly know how long he’s been “alive”. What we do know is that Clear was created in a laboratory by the orders of a man named Toue who is a rich man with the desire to take over Japan (and the world, ultimately).

Because of his abnormalities, he was going to be thrown away and destroyed, but one of the scientists who had helped create him stole him away and hid with him in an abandoned and forbidden district.

Their house looked like an oversized dingy tin can. It looked like it was made out of various scraps of metal garbage and fashioned into something house like. But even so, he had his own room fashioned and lived like a normal human being. He even started calling the man that took care of him his “Grandfather”.

Eventually, he started to forget that he wasn’t human. It wasn’t a kind of forget where the information was lost, but a sort of after thought. He lived peacefully like that up until his grandfather died in his sleep. After that, Clear put himself to “sleep” after giving his grandfather a proper burial and grieved.

Clear was awakened by Aoba Seragaki’s voice which sounded like it belonged to his “Master”. His Master was Toue, but considering that they both had the same “type” of voice, he considered it to be his own Master’s and promptly went to him.

He helped Aoba right after he was attacked by Noiz. He brought him to his place of work while he was unconscious then drifted away again. He would frequently reappear when it seemed that Aoba was in some sort of trouble and then just stuck around to help when Aoba’s Granny was kidnapped.

He helped fight the people that took Granny then went with everyone to bring her back to her house.

(This is where it splits off into different routes, so time gets weird.)
Clear accompanies Aoba to Platinum Jail where Clear tries to assist him in taking down Toue before he can take over the world.

After a series of nonsensical events, Aoba and Clear meet other members of the robot series that Clear was apart of. They both learn that Clear can’t fight against them and they’re extremely strong.

They both finally infiltrate the Oval Tower and face off against the two Alphas that they encountered earlier and Clear makes the decision to destroy the part of his brain that prevents him from fighting them.

For the Good Ending, Aoba lets Clear make that decision for himself after using scrap on him and seeing that he does have a heart and soul and Clear stabs himself in the right side of his head. After plucking out the keylock that prevents him from fighting the Alphas, he belts out a powerful song that messes up the Alphas and immobilizes them.

The Tower begins collapsing and Aoba helps drag a breaking Clear out of there and back to where they were staying while in Platinum Jail. There, Clear breaks down slowly while telling Aoba how he feels and that he has no regrets, thanking him.

After that, Aoba drags the completely broken robot back to his home and works obsessively on him, trying to fix him, but of course he’s far too complicated a machine to be fixed by an amateur. So eventually Aoba gives him to his grandma for her to take to a researcher to fix.

After six months, Clear finally returns to Aoba fixed up and begins his renewed life by his side.

Personality: Clear’s personality is a little tricky because it’s made up with parts of Artificial Intelligence as well as a sort of “Ghost in the Shell” part. (The concept, not the anime.)

Clear is a robot, so there is a lot of stuff that he doesn’t understand in terms of human experiences and emotions. His AI is programmed to respond with basic human emotions. (i.e. Laughing when something is funny, smiling when something is good, crying when something is sad, and frowning when something is bad.) Throughout his personal route, Aoba begins teaching him more of the grey areas of emotions like melancholy or wistful. He had only previously learned what he already knows from living with his “Grandfather”, but learning through only one person isn’t enough when it comes to human personality and emotions, especially when that one person is a calm and wizened old man with the relationship of “guardian”. Aoba provides a whole different range of emotions and thoughts as well as a different kind of relationship since he’s an emotional 20-something who is also still trying to learn about life.

His type of AI is designed to allow him to blend in with humanity by learning these grey areas when he sees them and respond accordingly. But what makes him different from the other Alphas in his series is that while he learns these emotions, he can actually feel them.
For example, when he tells Aoba that he loves him, he says that he knows that it’s out of nowhere, but it’s something that he feels. From what we know, Clear hadn’t had that kind of love imposed on him before, so there would be no way for him to learn what romantic love was beforehand. Aoba even asks him later to clarify what he meant and even goes as far as to make Clear distinguish his love for him as a “Master” and his love for him as Aoba. Clear has to think about it, but he is able to give an explanation that sounds very much like what a human being would say for their own reason for being in love with someone.

Another example is his decision making. The fact that he made the decision to go against his robot comrades that is completely against his mechanical programming signifies that he has more than just a robot brain.

He can also be Scrapped by Aoba. Scrapping is an ability that Aoba has to go inside someone’s heart, mind, and soul and tamper with it. He can keep someone from making a decision that could hurt them or change someone’s feelings on their memories, or even destroy their very mind to break them. The fact that he could go into Clear’s heart, mind, and soul means that Clear has a heart, mind, and a soul which isn’t something robots are capable of having. So in that regard, he is very much like a human.

Now for the personality that people can see, he comes off as a whimsical, childlike, airhead. Because he’s still learning about different emotions, they seem to swing back and forth like suddenly going from being depressed about something to happy when something nice is said. He can feel the in between feelings, but he’s still learning how to understand them or the names of such feelings.

Being so childlike, he has a strange habit of collecting shiny things. He loves things like clear bobbles, bottles, umbrellas, marbles, and things like that. He loves jellyfish, stars, and the ocean. He has no explanation for the reason why he likes those things, but it’s similar to how humans just like things because they do.

Clear doesn’t like violence. While his robot series are humanoid weapons used to tamper with peoples’ brainwaves and harm them if need be, he’s learned to be non-violent. (In fact, his own song for messing with humans is used for peaceful purposes). It’s not completely known if it’s because it’s apart of his “personality” or if it was something taught to him by his grandfather. But he’s seen multiple times in the Main Route saying “Please stop!” when there’s a fight happening, or running away when faced with conflict, or taking punches rather than giving them. The only times he throws a crushing blow is when it’s absolutely necessary. He also kind of goes overboard when someone caused harm to Aoba, nearly beating the man to death until Aoba told him to stop. (This part is a bit contradicting since he didn’t understand why Aoba scolded him later for defending him.) Other than those few times, he’s not a violent person.

A lot of science fiction androids are portrayed by highly logical and intelligent beings, but this definitely isn’t the case for Clear. He’s seen doing a lot of nonsensical things throughout his route. There are a plethora of examples, but to name a few:

He carries around a clear umbrella in his deep pockets for really no reason whatsoever. He simply just likes to have it and will open it up rain or shine. Since it’s clear, it provides no protection from the sun and he had to be reminded that it was primarily used for rain in the first place until Aoba had to tell him that it was strange to have when it wasn’t raining.

Another example is when he mistook Overr Tower for Oval Tower. He thought he had successfully infiltrated Oval Tower all on his own, being a bit help to his Master! But he had gotten the location and tower name all confused. Human beings and hyper intelligent androids alike would have been able to figure out that such an easy infiltration, lack of dangerous security, and simply looking at the giant sign a few feet away meant that the tower wasn’t the right one. It was also in a completely different direction. Of course, he was chided by Aoba and he felt awful.

One more example is not knowing that dressing up naked in an apron isn’t appropriate behavior for non-lovers. He had just learned that it’s an Ultimate Man’s Fantasy, but he didn’t stop to think that maybe it’s not Aoba’s fantasy or the plain and simple fact that they weren’t “like that”.

But despite being pretty naive about a lot of things, he is sincere in learning. He loves learning everything that he can and can learn very quickly! He adapts to new information, soaking it up like a sponge. He is quick to ask why certain things are the way they are even going as far as to ask existential questions. At one point, he even asks Aoba what the meaning of life is. He wonders why not all humans are scared of going to sleep since his own Grandfather passed away in his sleep. He will ask questions until he is satisfied with the answer then will happily thank the person for their explanation. The problem with being so accepting, however, someone can steer him in the wrong direction. If someone is good enough at lying, they could go as far as make him believe anything that they say.

Thankfully, his Grandfather seemed to teach him to be a good boy. Clear is a kind, caring individual. He is quick to make himself useful and eager to help in anyway he can! He is easily disheartened when he messes something up, though. Since he wears his heart on his sleeves, he visibly sags and slumps when he’s disappointed in himself and requires a bit of cheering up or else he’ll continue beating himself up.

Clear seems to have a general fear of being disliked. He keeps his face hidden from people because he fears that if people look at it, they’ll hate him. He has no idea what his face looks like and the fear that it’s monstrous or hideous keeps it planted squarely on his face. His Grandfather is the one that forbade him from taking it off to help hide Clear from Toue and getting recognized as an Alpha model, but Clear’s mind is the one that invented the idea that his face is disgusting. The only reason he had removed it was because Aoba reassured him that he wouldn’t hate him just for his face because Clear is a kind person, a sort of “It’s what’s on the inside, not the outside” lesson that the robot learns from the gesture. But even after revealing is rather beautiful face, he still gets butterflies being exposed.

He is also scared of human mortality. His grandfather passed away gently in his sleep, so he would watch Aoba sleep to make sure he didn’t drift away just like his Grandfather. He knows that all humans die and he’s destined to live on passed them forever because he’s a machine, but that notion makes him uneasy. He cares so deeply for the fragile humans that he befriends that he worries about their well being more than his own.

Clear still strives to be as humanlike as he can. He is happy to know that he has a heart and soul so that he can have the same connection to humans as they do with each other. He knows that even though his body is a machine, he is capable of so much more because of his heart and takes pride in that.

Inventory: His clear umbrella, marbles, gas mask, and a jack knife.
Abilities: Clear’s abilities are superhuman strength and speed. He has a self-recovery function in his brain that repairs him constantly whether it’s with his hardware or his software. He has the power of “Dye Music” which is being able to tamper with human brainwaves to control them. But his own “Dye Music” is like an antidote to his Alpha brethrens’. Instead of using it to control people, he uses it to soothe people and dispel the ill effects of harsh “Dye Music”. (In addition to this, he has a lovely voice.)
He has fantastic hearing normally, but since he stabbed himself in his right ear and broke it beyond normal repair, it doesn’t work as well as his left. He can jump from rooftop to rooftop. He is a fast learner and can also cook very well!
Flaws: He is extremely naive. There are a lot of situations, feelings, and facts that he doesn’t understand, so that could get him or other people hurt. He’s a bit clumsy. He could also get himself broken for rash decisions that he makes to protect someone. He actually does so a few times during his route. He let himself get beaten up for Aoba, acid thrown on his face, and stabbed himself in the head with a knife. The latter resulted in him breaking down completely.

The way he reacts in a crisis, however, also all depends on the crisis. He can either face things bravely (Like he did against the Alphas) or he could flail around in a panic if he truly doesn’t know what he can do. (Like he did when having to save Granny Tae).

He can also lose control of his own strength. This ranges from accidentally breaking doors when trying to get in somewhere to nearly beating someone to death for hurting someone he loves.

CHARACTER
Character Name: Civilian name is Luca Krantz, powered name is Megrez (full title is Transcendent Galactic Cosmonarch Megrez).
Character Age: 18
Canon: Original Character
Canon Point: 9/30/2015, after the events detailed in History- a relatively calm period.
World Description: Megrez's world is essentially modern day America. She lives in Nova City, which is located somewhere on the East Coast. The critical difference is the existence of a magical war with traces all over the world but chiefly centered in Nova City, as that is where the highest concentration of powered people is. The powered population is divided into two main factions, broadly termed Order and Chaos. Order is sort of a misnomer, as Chaos is named for the fact that its members draw power from a dark, chaotic energy while Order is more or less the absence of chaotic corruption. Order is made up of the Cosmonarchs (sometimes referred to as a Cosmo/Cosmos, or by their rank), basically magical girls and boys who have a special connection to a point in space (Megrez's point is the planet Megrez, named for the star in the Big Dipper it's close to). Their structure is kind of loose, and there are no real official leaders; they are pretty much vigilantes. Chaos, on the other hand, is made up of an organization that calls itself the Chaonites. Their structure is more rigid and militaristic, with a defined hierarchy. They can also employ monsters called Chaonids and, under the right conditions, flood Cosmonarchs with chaotic energy to corrupt them. However, some powerful Cosmonarchs (those of the fourth power rank, Astral) can purify Chaonites if they are ready and willing.

The Chaonites are generally a plague on the civilians of Nova City, draining their energy and sometimes even straight-up killing them, but certain events have disguised the evil the Chaonites are capable of and given the Cosmonarchs a bad reputation. The Chaonites seek to gain control and power and revive their sleeping guardian, and since the Cosmonarchs rather like life without some dark god ruling over them, the War on Chaos was born. Nearly every day, new Cosmonarchs are awakened by Oracles (animals given consciousness and the power to awaken Cosmonarchs by a mysterious force lurking somewhere in the galaxy; they call it the Astral Consciousness) and new Chaonite Lieutenants are corrupted by superior Generals. So far, it seems like the war is nowhere near an end for either side, be it through a truce or through defeat. For some, it's simply a part of daily life...

History: Megrez was first awakened as a Cosmonarch two years ago by the miniature schnauzer Oracle Burroughs. Like most rookie Cosmonarchs, she floundered; however, she was fortunate enough to find an experienced Cosmonarch who took her under her wing. This particular Cosmo preached that Chaos was a plague to be exterminated, no mercy whatsoever. Being fresh and naive, Megrez swallowed the dogma whole, and it would set the stage for her first kill. When she was part of a team storming a warehouse to stop a Chaonite operation there, she was trapped with and goaded by Chaonite Lieutenant. Sensing an opportunity, she grabbed a knife that had fallen out of a box and stabbed him to death, an event that would shatter her.

Not long after the incident, Burroughs gave Megrez an upgrade to the second power rank, Stellar Cosmonarch. It was around this time that she encountered an Astral Cosmonarch who would challenge her and reinforce the dogma she had been fed. The pressure to be a "good Cosmo" in the eyes of her superiors came to a head when that Astral Cosmonarch led her and a large group of other Cosmos to a warehouse where he had brutally murdered a group of Chaonite Lieutenants and scattered their blood and bodies. When debate ensued about the righteousness of the Astral Cosmonarch's actions and he declared war not just on all Chaotic agents but all Order members who would oppose him, Megrez snapped under pressure. She chastised all the opponents of the Astral’s dogma for not wanting to take action, making herself quite a few enemies in the process.

From there, she would be a part of the Astral’s campaign, slaying Chaonite Captains and Lieutenants alike in fits of desperation to make any sort of impact on the war. Her dreams became warped with visions of other Cosmos accusing her of being no better than Chaos and of being guided by a voice to use a mysterious power to tear them apart. Those were nothing more than dreams, but soon she would be one of many who received visions of a dystopian future. In this future, the Chaonites ruled over Nova City and were beginning to get a stranglehold on the world itself. Megrez was a member of the resistance and was responsible for the deaths of many Chaonite agents. Many of her friends had been either killed by the Chaonites or forcibly corrupted to their side, which destroyed any uncertainty about killing the enemy. She spent her time killing any Chaonite agents she could find, particularly hunting for her former friends who had been twisted beyond recognition. Eventually, she would meet her end during a counter-ambush against the Chaonites, killed by a General-Queen. In the wake of these visions, Megrez sought counsel from her friends and swore to protect them to prevent the dark future from ever coming true.

Throughout her Cosmonarch career, Megrez would travel to the ruined planet she shared a name with, experiencing visions of the life of the previous Cosmonarch of Megrez. As the visions went on, a story came together: the previous Cosmonarch of Megrez had a lover who was actually a spy from another planet. Though she was originally furious at his betrayal despite his attempted repentance, she forgave him, and witnessing that act of forgiveness stirred something in Megrez's heart. She couldn't continue to be a destructive force when there were so many Chaonites who had been forced into the organization and wanted to be purified. Those people needed the same love and forgiveness that the previous Cosmonarch had shown her lover. From that day on, Megrez swore that she would work to help and negotiate instead of to hurt, and not much later Burroughs showed up to upgrade her to the third and final normal rank, Galactic Cosmonarch. She sealed her vow for herself with a ritual the previous Cosmonarch used to commune with the planet and the spirit of the Cosmonarch before her. To her surprise, the ritual actually did something: a special link to her planet was activated, giving her the glowing blue marks on her face and arms and marking her as a Transcendent Cosmonarch.

Things began to settle down slightly for Megrez after these events. She apologized to some of the people she had gone off on back at the Astral's spectacle and made an effort to talk first and fight second. There were still plenty of Chaonite operations to bust to keep her busy, along with explorations of her planet every now and then. She even began to mentor a rookie Cosmonarch named Sadachbia. Now she is a freshman in college, and she was enjoying a somewhat quiet period in her life before suddenly being pulled to the world of Hadriel.

Personality:

Megrez is a deeply passionate person. When she gets into something, she gets really into it. She'll devote herself to whatever her new passion is as much as she can, and she'll try to get others into it as well. She may sometimes get so wrapped up in something that she'll alter her priorities or overcommit to it, but generally, if she can't do it at the time, she'll settle for babbling about it to others. Her passion shows in her enthusiasm for the Cosmonarch life; she is happy to discuss it with her fellow Cosmonarchs or even civilians who know enough about the war to ask (curious Chaonites are also welcome to speak to her as long as they don't start a fight). It also shows in her unyielding pursuit of occasional odd ideas, like asking for her fellow Cosmonarchs's addresses to mail them surprise plushies (she recently mailed a bunch of GiantMicrobes to people; one who just adopted a baby got an Egg Cell, a dog-themed Cosmo got Rabies, and her protege Sadachbia got a West Nile virus due to her Egyptian-looking uniform). It seemed like fun, so she threw herself into it (despite Sadachbia's protests of "don't you think people are going to find packages with a winged egg on them kind of weird, or return your gifts, or just yell at you about them?").

There is a certain natural energy to Megrez that couples well with her zeal. She is just about tireless, always bustling from activity to activity and rarely feeling exhausted. It could be said that sometimes, she runs off pure vigor. (Of course, sleep deprivation and emotional exhaustion will hit her like it will hit anyone else, but other than that it seems like she can keep going and going.) When a group of Cosmonarchs was kidnapped by the Chaonites, she worked day and night to uncover any clues about their location she could and charged into the abandoned funhouse they were being held in to rescue the captured after the location had been discovered. She nearly fell asleep while patrolling the day after everyone was rescued, but that's another matter.

All that zeal and boldness comes with some drawbacks. Sometimes, Megrez just doesn't think before she acts. She'll dash into action before whatever has happened (be it a physical or emotional event) has had time to sink in and be processed. This tendency results in her doing a lot of things she later regrets. She's gotten in trouble on multiple occasions for just smacking people who are misbehaving. One very prominent example was her explosion at the Astral Cosmonarch's bloody display; if she had a little more self-control, she wouldn't have gone off on everyone like that. She has matured since that event, but she still dives into things without thinking (for example, the aforementioned plushie escapades; the one who got Rabies showed up to chuck it at her and raise a minor fuss that she didn't anticipate, but he eventually accepted the gift anyway).

Megrez would be lying if she said she didn't hold grudges. She remembers what people have done to her for a very, very long time. She might act as though she has forgiven you... but she remembers, and she probably is still bitter over whatever happened. When alone with a friend, she may still talk about bygone wrongs and how mad she still is about the person who did them to her, and sometimes her bitterness slips out in the form of bluntness or coldness. Generally, however, she strives to hide it (not always effectively). At the Astral Cosmonarch's scene, a Cosmonarch who disagreed with her slapped her and told her she should break her Cosmic Capsule in response to her saying that all who didn't want to make a move in the war should break their Capsules. She still resents that person to some degree, even though she would really like to apologize to him now.

If something troubles Megrez or she's made a critical error, she will dwell on it for a long, long time and refuse to let it go. She's the kind of person to stay depressed over a mistake for a long period of time, even after she has been forgiven, because "it was so stupid." Even after apologizing to someone that she had inflicted a particularly nasty verbal assault on and being forgiven, she still felt terrible for the onslaught in the first place. It doesn't matter that it happened nearly a year ago and that she was explicitly forgiven; she still thinks about the incident and fears that it might happen again in some form.

In sum, Megrez is an energetic, passionate young woman devoted to her life as a Cosmonarch. Though she can be very rash and have deep regrets, she prefers to stay sunny-side up and do the best she can.

Inventory:

Cosmic Capsule (CosCap): The transformation item for all Cosmonarchs, distributed by the Oracles. It looks more like a compact than a capsule, but CosComp was an abbreviation already taken by the Cosmonarch communication device (see below). Megrez's capsule is golden and has her planet's symbol engraved in it (the egg in a cup you see on her forehead). When transforming, Cosmonarchs open the capsule and say their transformation phrase before getting a spiffy transformation sequence. The default phrase is a simple "Cosmonarch [Name], Activate!", but customization is allowed as long as you find an Oracle to program it for you. Megrez's is "Cosmonarch Megrez, Hatch!" There are fast and slow settings for transformation; fast is the default, though some older Cosmonarchs remember a time when a slow, flashy transformation was the only option (a barrier forms to prevent interruption of the transformation, but speed can make all the difference). When powered up, the Capsule takes the form of the Cosmonarch's brooch (which means it changes appearance a bit, or a lot in some cases); when the Cosmonarch powers down, it reverts back to capsule form.

Cosmic Computer (CosComp): It looks like a hybrid between a flip phone and a tiny laptop. It serves all sorts of functions for Cosmonarchs, including: allowing them to call/text/video chat each other, creating an SOS signal when needed, and allowing Cosmonarchs to travel to their planets. Naturally, most of these functions will probably not work in Hadriel, as there are no other Cosmonarchs to contact and planet travel is simply right out. The SOS signal might be able to be rigged to work with other devices somehow, but since the signal is only read by other CosComps at this point, it'll be useless.

Songstone: A golden egg-shaped crystal. The center facet has the egg cup symbol engraved in it; when pushed in, it activates musical tones that provide a soothing effect to those in the area. It's an artifact from Megrez's planet that she found not long after her Transcendence; she frequently puts it on before going to sleep and finds it helps that a lot.

Abilities:

Aura sensing- As a Cosmonarch, Megrez is capable of sensing the auras that other Cosmonarchs and Chaonites give off when powered up. The auras serve to inform her of the alignment and rank of nearby powered people; naturally, she gives off an aura herself that can be detected by people with that power (to people unaware of the different ranks of Cosmonarchs, it will simply feel very "bright;" this can be adjusted accordingly per the parameters of a character's specific aura sensing). Megrez can sense other auras from people who give them off, but she's probably not going to be able to derive anything useful from them since her sensing is rather strictly calibrated to detect if something is Chaotic or not and what power rank it is.

Subspace pocket- Megrez also has access to something called a subspace pocket (as do all Cosmonarchs). Essentially, it's a tiny invisible pocket dimension that she can slip items in and out of; however, there are limitations on what can be placed in subspace. If it doesn't have some sort of magical property, it's probably not going to be able to go in there. The CosComp and her Songstone can go in there, but combat and kitchen knives cannot (she has tried that). Small animals also cannot go in there, even if they are magical (the resident guinea pig Oracle wanted to hitch a ride and was very disappointed when the pocket didn't activate for her).

Attacks- Megrez has a variety of magical attacks at her disposal. They are as follows:

Egg Toss- Cupping one hand to catch it, Megrez manifests an Extra-Large size Grade AA chicken egg and says the attack name. This egg can then be chucked at the enemy. Even though it might sting or leave a welt due to being a magically-charged egg, it's really more messy (thanks to egg goop) than harmful. The egg goop and shell fragments linger for 25 seconds before they dissipate. Can be used three times per battle.

Ostrich Egg Toss- Cupping both hands to catch it and saying the attack name, Megrez manifests an ostrich egg. This egg can be thrown at the enemy. Ostrich eggs can be up to five pounds and they are significantly bigger than chicken eggs, so this egg might actually hurt if thrown at someone. The goop and residue from this egg lingers for 30 seconds before disappearing. Can be used three times per battle.

Eggzooka- Turning one palm outward to face the target, Megrez says the name of the attack and manifests a rapid-fire stream of extra-large grade AA chicken eggs that shoot out in the direction she's pointing (so, basically, the eggs from Egg Toss). The attack fires about 3 eggs per second for 3 seconds. The egg goop and shell fragments linger for 25 seconds before disappearing. Can be used three times per battle.

Eggsplosion- Tracing an egg shape with her hands, Megrez conjures a huge (4 foot tall) egg in front of her. The egg will rise about ten feet into the air and then explode in ten seconds, releasing a hail of smaller eggs (like those of Egg Toss) on everyone in a ten-foot area (it does not discriminate between enemies and allies). It will also injure people via eggshell shrapnel. There is a very small "safe area" directly below the giant egg where no smaller eggs will fall. The giant egg can be destroyed by an attack before it unleashes the egg rain, but it will still explode after being destroyed (no egg goop or smaller eggs will come out, but the shrapnel will still be a problem, especially for the person closest to the egg). The shrapnel and goop from the egg hail last for 40 seconds before they disappear. Can only be used once per battle.

Other talents- Megrez is a decent kickboxer and a good singer. Those are pretty much her main civilian talents.

Flaws: In theory, the Door only brings in evil and chaos. Here is where you would detail the chaotic parts of your character- let us know some of the bad things about them, maybe some of the wicked acts they've done, why they could have been swept up by the Door. Even small things, like 'he gets angry when someone steals his lunch at work' or 'she oversleeps all the time' will count. If your character is the purest cinnamon roll to ever exist and has nothing horrible about them, then you can put that in this section as well and be an exception to the rule.

The biggest one: Megrez is a murderer. Her body count is at least four Chaonites of varying ranks, even more in the visions of the dystopian future. She doesn't deny her sordid past before she began trying to reform herself, but she certainly does a lot of trying not to think of it.

Megrez also lashes out at people she disagrees with, though that has been more true in the past than recently. She excoriated one Cosmonarch for referring to Chaonites as her "brethren," (ie. Chaonites become true Cosmonarchs when purified) calling her stupid and a deadweight nuisance.

It's not a huge, every day thing, but Megrez can be possessive and overprotective of her friends. When she found a Corrupt Cosmonarch that seemed to have eyes on a very close friend of hers (mostly targeting eyes, not really romantic ones), her mind promptly filled with fantasies of how she was going to ruin that Corrupt's life, or rather end it. The highlight reel included stabbing her, sending her an exploding plushie, and knocking her out with her with her eggs before snapping her neck.

Those sorts of violent fantasies are a flaw in themselves, when it comes down to it. Just because she's making an effort to talk first and fight later doesn't mean she's completely cured of the urge to hunt down certain Chaonites. If the Chaonite is demonstrably an irredeemable danger, she will go all out should she encounter them. Threaten her friends, and she will start thinking of ways to punish you, even if you are a member of Order.

SAMPLES
Action Log Sample:

Megrez was having difficulty adjusting to her new environment.

Some things were the same; there were monsters, and there were innocent people to protect from them. However, the similarities more or less ended there. She couldn't contact her fellow Cosmonarchs, her aura senses told her absolutely nothing, and this city looked absolutely nothing like Nova City. With no apparent way of obtaining guidance, no knowledge of the layout of the area, and everyone else just as confused as she was, she was starting to get deeply concerned about her odds of survival. Furthermore, she was beginning to realize how spoiled she was. Food was scarce and electricity was nowhere to be found. She was used to being able to eat dinner before going out on her nightly patrols, and here she was starting to feel the effects of mere hours without food. A woozy, cold, and tired Megrez was an easy target, and she knew it. She had to find food quickly, as she absolutely did not want to die here.

She began to peek into the windows of the various buildings she passed to see if there were any occupants she could ask for help. While there were no signs of life, one building seemed like the answer to her prayers. Beyond the window was an array of very real-looking fruit: apples, pears, oranges, bananas. Her intuition immediately told her trap; why was there suddenly delicious fruit after blocks and blocks of nothing? Her stomach growled in wanting, and the hunger pang translated into a twinge of anxiety. Surely it wouldn't hurt to at least try the fruit, if she could get access to it? If the fruit was poisoned or cursed somehow, she would die, but she would die anyway if she didn't eat. It was a risk she needed to take.

Of course the door was locked. Sighing in defeat and frustration, Megrez knocked on the door and waited for someone who never came. The nervous feelings only got worse as she waited, and then her gaze shifted to the window. It would be easy to get in through breaking the window, wouldn't it? One ostrich egg would probably do the trick. The thought gave her a twitch of apprehension; Cosmonarchs already had a bad enough reputation for property damage. This place didn't need a bad first impression of her people. Then again, she could do much worse than breaking a window and eating some food. The situation certainly was desperate enough to justify it.

A mumbled "Ostrich Egg Toss" and a forceful throw later, the window shattered loud enough to make Megrez wince. Cautiously, she stepped through the hole left behind and began to help herself to the fruit. An apple was her first morsel, and goodness was it amazing. Sweet, crisp, and cool... before long, she was munching on the other fruit items too, and she tucked away quite a bounty before finally being satisfied. The apple cores and peach pits and banana and orange peels littered the table around her, and she did feel a cloud of guilt settle over her. There was still plenty of fruit left, however, and that gave her an idea. With some creativity, she used the remaining fruit to spell out "Sorry."

Hopefully the people who lived here would know an apology when they saw it.
