Hello, and thank you for the questions! We do currently have D&D characters in the game and we will accept them going forward- our FAQ has been changed to address that. The players of these characters had talked to us about apping their characters beforehand, and we decided to change our rules to allow these types of characters. Unfortunately, due to an oversight, the official FAQ was not changed at that time, which resulted in this misunderstanding. The FAQ has been changed now and we hope to avoid any confusion going forward. Thank you!
