Forgive me if this has already been asked and I missed it!

Marian has an effort going to try to track the Door, and is gonna be hanging out in the Colloseum with guard volunteers until arrival day happens. I know the new arrivals wake up all together, but what does it look like if someone is watching when they actually come in? Do they just suddenly appear out of nowhere, or something else?
